Decorator Crab and SpongeThe Decorator Crab takes pieces of the sponge and covers its shell for camouflage. The sponge goes about its normal life, filter feeding as it would normally on any surface. The crab also benefits from the toxins that can be absorbed from the species of sponge. The sponge benefits from all the feeding opportunities based on the crabs movement.
